A romantic evening is incomplete without a special meal. Whether you prefer cooking together or enjoying a professionally prepared dinner, there are plenty of ways to indulge in fine dining without leaving the cottage.
Cook Together: Turn your evening into a fun experience by cooking a delicious meal together. The cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen, so pick up some fresh local ingredients—like Wye Valley asparagus or Forest of Dean venison—and prepare something indulgent.
Luxury Hampers: Indulge in one of the luxury hampers we provide such as a cheese and wine hamper, packed full of local goodies to share.
Private Chef Experience: If you want to elevate the evening, we can organise hire of a private chef to prepare a gourmet dinner for two. We work with a select few local chefs to offer in-cottage dining experiences, where they cook and serve a luxury meal in the comfort of your holiday home. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a fine dining experience without lifting a finger.
Alfresco Dining: If the weather is good, we can set up a candlelit dinner space outside. The tranquillity of the surrounding forest and the fresh evening air will make for an unforgettable meal under the stars.

In-Cottage Massage: We partner with a highly experienced local therapist who will visit the cottage and offer you a couples’ massage, or other treatment of your choice. The soothing scents of essential oils and the calming touch of a massage will leave you both feeling completely relaxed.
Hot Tub Under the Stars: We have a wood fired hot tub, so take full advantage of it! Slip into the warm bubbles with a glass of champagne or your favourite wine, and enjoy the serenity of the night. The combination of the forest’s quiet stillness and the twinkling stars above creates the ultimate setting for relaxation and romance.
